Festivale 2024 - Everything You Need To Know | Great Newsome Brewery

Festivale is back for 2024! Join on the 14th & 15th of June to celebrate the very best live music, food and (of course) beer that East Yorkshire has to offer.
On what dates will Festivale 2024 be held?
Festivale 2024 will run on both Friday 14th June (6pm – 10pm) and Saturday 15th June (1pm – 10pm).
Where can tickets be purchased?
Early bird tickets will be available to purchase online via our online store here. Simply print out your booking or bring it along via your phone to the event.
Where will Festivale 2024 be located?
As with the previous year’s event, Festivale 2024 will be held in a large field adjacent to Great Newsome Brewery.
For those who’ve not yet popped round to see us, our address is:
Great Newsome Brewery
South Frodingham
Winestead
Hull
East Yorkshire
HU12 0NR
Is camping available?
Camping pitches will go on sale on 06/11/23.
Access to camping pitches will be made available at 1:00pm on the Friday and 11:30am on the Saturday. Each person camping is still required to purchase a separate admission ticket for the event. No electrical hookup is available. Those staying over will have access to a fresh water supply and toilets. Caravan owners will have to park their cars in the car park once their caravan is in place.
Those staying over on the Friday night only must vacate their pitch by 11am on the Saturday. All pitches must be vacated by 12pm on Sunday 16th June.
From what time will the gates be open?
We’ll open general admission from 5:00pm on Friday 14th and 12:00pm on Saturday 15th.
Can I buy tickets at the event?
Yes, but please be aware that we do have an attendance limit in place due to safety reasons. Our advice is to simply book in advance, which can be done here.
How much is admission?
For early bird adult tickets cost £12 for the Friday and £17 for the Saturday. A weekend saver ticket can be purchased for £22. U18s admission is free of charge, however, they will require an accompanying adult and a U18 ticket. Each ticket includes 1 free drink, a pint of beer or cider and for the first time this year a branded polycarbonate pint glass which you can take home. Should you wish to have a polycarbonate wine glass we can do this instead.
Do you have a ticket refund policy? Yes. Should not be able to make the event having already purchased admission tickets then we will happily refund 100% of the cost up 28 days before event. Simply contact us with your details. Inside 28 days sadly we will not be able to refund admission tickets. If you have booked a camping pitch then again we will refund a 100% of the cost up 28 days before event. Within 28 days of the event we will also offer you a refund if we are able to resell your pitch. If we are unable to then we will not be able to refund your pitch fee.
Can I pay by card on the day or do I need to bring cash?
We will be accepting both.
Is it suitable for families?
Of course! In addition to a huge sandpit, we’ll be putting on a range of gigantic, ridiculously large pub games such as skittles and jenga. These are all, of course, completely free. A selection of soft drinks, sweets and icecream will also be on sale.
Please note that under-18s require a free under-18s ticket — it’s solely so that we can keep track of attendance ahead of time.
What type of music will you be playing at Festivale?
Festivale features a range of great, local musicians playing over the 2 days. Acts will be confirmed in due course.
Which charity will Festivale support this year?
For those unaware, we annually donate proceeds from each Festivale to charity. The charity which we will support in 2024 will be announced in due course.
Which beers will you have on the bar at Festivale?
A range of at least 10 different Great Newsome Brewery beers will be available on the bar. We’ll reveal these in due course!
- Wine, non-alcoholic beer, soft drinks and Dudda’s Tun Cider (both apple & fruit) will also be available.
How do we pay at the bar?
We operate a token bar. On arrival, you can buy tokens here to pay for your drinks. This helps us keep the queues at the bar to a minimum.
Are dogs welcome?
Yes, well-behaved dogs are welcome if they are kept on a lead.
Will food be available at Festivale?
Yes! We will have a range of quality food vendors attending. Once again, these will all be revealed in time.
Can we bring our own alcohol?
We ask you not to bring your own alcohol because we try to raise as much money as possible for good causes. We have a variety of beers, ciders, wines and prosecco at sensible prices. For example, beer will be priced at £3.50 per pint. We will be operating a Challenge 25 policy on the bar. We also offer soft drinks for young and old alike.
