Festivale 2026 | Great Newsome Brewery

Festivale is back for 2026! Join us on the 19th & 20th of June to celebrate the very best live music, food and (of course) beer that East Yorkshire has to offer. Plus for the first time we will be offering something on Sunday 21st. More on that in a mo.

On what dates will Festivale 2026 be held?

Festivale 2026 will run on both Friday 19th June (5:30pm – 10pm) and Saturday 20th June (1pm – 10pm). Plus, on Sunday 21st June we will have Sup-up Sunday.

What is Sup-up Sunday?

Sup-up Sunday is exactly what is says on the tin. Those camping on Saturday have the opportunity to stay on the Sunday to help drink up what beer and cider is left. At just £10 per adult (ticket required) you can stay and drink as much or as little as you wish. Those staying for Sup-up Sunday also have the option to purchase an additional night’s camping pitch and stay over on the Sunday night.

Those staying on Sunday night must leave by 11 am on the Monday morning. There will be no music on the Sunday, but we are working on getting someone down to provide food so watch this space.

Where can tickets be purchased?

Tickets are available to purchase online via our online store here. Simply print out your booking or bring it along via your phone to the event; a ticket will not be posted to you.

Where will Festivale 2026 be located?

As with the previous year’s event, Festivale 2026 will be held in a large field adjacent to Great Newsome Brewery.

For those who’ve not yet popped round to see us, our address is:

Great Newsome Brewery

South Frodingham

Winestead

Hull

East Yorkshire

Is camping available?

Yes. Camping pitches can be bought here.

There are 2 types of pitches. Large pitches are 7m x 7m and these are suitable for large tents, caravans, campers/small motorhomes and people who want a set amount of space. Should the pitch not be large enough to accommodate your tent, caravan or camper/motorhome, you must purchase 2 or more pitches to accommodate you. Small pitches are suitable for small tents only and by booking this you will be able to pitch anywhere in the designated small tent area. Note it is on a first come first served basis. If you want to camp near your friends or family, we recommend that the first person of your group to arrive should inform the steward in charge of allocating your pitch how many pitches you will require next to each other. Although we can’t guarantee to accommodate everybody’s requirements, we will do our best.

Access to camping pitches will be made available at 1:00pm on the Friday and 11:30am on the Saturday. Each person camping is still required to purchase a separate admission ticket for the event. No electrical hookup is available. For 2026 we will be providing an IBC for your camper/motorhome/caravan toilet disposal before you leave. Those staying over will have access to a fresh water supply and toilets. Caravan owners will have to park their cars in the car park once their caravan is in place.

Those staying over on the Friday night only must vacate their pitch by 11am on the Saturday unless booked to stay Saturday night. All pitches must be vacated by 12pm on Sunday 21st June unless booked to stay over on Sunday night or staying for Sup-up Sunday.

From what time will the gates be open?

We’ll open general admission from 5:00pm on Friday 19th and 12:00pm on Saturday 20th.

Can I buy tickets at the event?

Yes and we’ll be taking both card and cash. Please be aware that we do have an attendance limit in place due to safety reasons. Our advice is to simply book in advance, which can be done here.

How much is admission?

Tickets cost £13 for the Friday and £17 for the Saturday. A weekend saver ticket can be purchased for £25. Sup-up Sunday is £10 per adult. Admission is free of charge for U18s, however, they will require an accompanying adult and a U18 ticket.

Each ticket includes 1 free drink, a pint of beer or cider and, for the first time, a branded polycarbonate pint glass to take home. If you would instead prefer a polycarbonate wine glass, we will provide one. As noted above, you can drink beer and cider to your heart’s content on Sup-up Sunday.

What is your ticket refund policy?

  • Any tickets refunded will be subject to a £5 admin fee which will be deducted from any refunded money.
  • No refunds will be given within 14 days of the start of Festivale.
  • To request a refund simply contact the brewery office at enquiries@greatnewsomebrewery.co.uk with your booking details.

These same conditions apply if you have booked a camping pitch.

Is it suitable for families?

Of course! In addition to a huge sandpit, we’ll be putting on a range of gigantic, ridiculously large pub games such as skittles and Jenga. These are all, of course, completely free. A selection of soft drinks, sweets and ice cream will also be on sale. Please note that under-18s require a free under-18s ticket — it’s solely so that we can keep track of attendance ahead of time.

What type of music will be playing at Festivale?

As ever, we’ve got an eclectic mix of the very best in local music. Here is who we’ve got in store for you this year:

Friday:

  • 17:30: James Wood — Singer and pianist covering classic and modern hits from across pop history.
  • 19:00: One Scotch, One Bourbon, One BeerWhisky-soaked blues harp, cool rhythms and a special brew of soulful vocals.
  • 20:30: The Inside Covers — A three-piece covers band playing rock & roll hits, folk bangers and indie deep cuts. Come for Lee’s soaring voice, stay for Ben and Greg’s unshakable grooves.

Saturday:

  • 13:00: Keir Lammas — A prodigious singer-songwriter, armed with an upside-down guitar, belting vocals and local charm.
  • 14:30: Moon Moth — Folk-swing-pop quartet with guitar, sax and vocal harmonies.
  • 16:00: Repeat Offenders — Rock and pop covers from 60’s right through to the noughties. It’s an absolute treat to have them, especially since they first formed with the express mission of playing at this very Festivale!
  • 17:30: The Bellyaches — Promising a blistering set, The Bellyaches bring the sound of Madchester straight into the modern day.
  • 19:00: Lockwood — The return of a fan favourite! Lockwood are a Hull band playing classic pop & rock gems from the 70’s, 80’s, 90’s and beyond.
  • 20:30: Ramble Gamble — This year’s headliners! Expect a pirate-tinged, high-octane folk rock energy you’ve never before experienced. They’re completely mad, breathtakingly original and we simply cannot wait.

The live sound will, as in years gone by, be provided by the excellent Africa Studios.

Which beers will you have on the bar at Festivale?

  • A range of at least 10 different Great Newsome Brewery beers will be available on the bar plus our lager North Bank.
  • We’ll also be stocking a range of ciders (both apple & fruit), as well as wine and prosecco.
  • Non-alcoholic beer and soft drinks will also be available.

How do we pay at the bar?

We operate a token bar. On arrival, you can buy tokens here to pay for your drinks. This helps us keep the faff (and, therefore, queues at the bar) to a minimum.

Can we bring our own chairs and gazebos?

Yes of course, all we ask is that you don’t obstruct anyone else’s view of the stage with your gazebo.

Will it still go ahead if it rains?

Yes. A little bit of rain won’t put us off… it is a festival, after all! Still, make sure you prepare for whatever the British weather throws at us.

Are dogs welcome?

Yes, well-behaved dogs are welcome if they are kept on a lead.

Will food be available at Festivale?

Yes! We will announce the vendors in due course.

Can we bring our own alcohol?

No! Bringing alcohol to the Festivale site is not allowed and if you are found consuming alcohol brought in from outside the event you will be asked to leave. Consumption of alcohol brought in from outside the event is only allowed within the camping area if you have a camping pitch. Our bar will have a variety of beers, ciders, wines and prosecco at sensible prices. We will be operating a Challenge 25 policy on the bar. We also offer soft/non-alcoholic drinks for young and old alike.
