Great Newsome Brewery’s annual Festivale festival this year has raised £3000 for 2 local charities. Hull Animal Welfare Trust and Hornsea Inshore Rescue have both received donations of £1500 following on from the successful beer and music event back in June.

Festivale festival now in its 7th year, saw 1200 people attend the 2-day event as Great Newsome came alive. The event hosted local bands, food trucks and craft beer. Festivale has raised over £16,000 for local charities since it began. The event is set to return on the 14th and 15th June 2024.

Matthew Hodgson from Great Newsome Brewery spoke about this year’s Festivale, “2023 has been a vintage year for the Festivale with lots of smiling faces and beautiful weather.”

“We must give a big thank you to everyone who attended, stall holders, food vendors and the volunteers who helped. A special thank you must go to Guy Moxon along with The Pub Lads. Guy helped organise the bands who played and the band he plays in The Pub Lads donated their fee to our charity donation”, he added.
