Legal Age To Buy Alcohol
You must be over the age of 18 years to be able to purchase or receive deliveries of alcohol.
Our Contract with You
Your order is an offer to buy from us. We may decline to supply the goods or services to you without giving any reason at any point up until then. A contract will be made between you and us from the moment we accept your order. In the case of delivery of goods, this moment is when the goods are despatched.
Description and Prices
The description and prices payable for the items or services that you order are clearly set out on our website. If, by mistake, an item is under-priced, we will not be liable to provide that item to you at the stated price, provided that we notify you before dispatching the item concerned. We may choose not to dispatch a given item for various reasons (eg: stock shortages). If this happens, we will contact you within 2 working days of our acceptance of your order. This may require changing or refunding your order. We will refund the difference when you have been overcharged for an item.
How to Pay
We accept Visa, Mastercard, credit/debit cards, and Paypal. Orders may be delayed by transfers of money or credit card authorisations not being confirmed by the respective banks. Please note that it is the customer’s responsibility to contact the bank to speed up the process if the order is required urgently. We always debit credit cards in UK pounds sterling. Please note that payment will be taken in full at the time of ordering.
COVID 19 Update. Many orders are now being placed for local home delivery, and this means that our delivery times can vary. Your order may be delivered the same day, provided it is placed early in the morning and to a location we would already be visiting. Most orders are delivered within 2 working days, but there is no guarantee. We are working to get orders out as soon as possible and within 5 working days.
The Scottish highlands and lowlands incur extra delivery costs. We will make you aware of this after you have placed an order with us. This extra delivery charge must be paid before the goods are dispatched.
Sadly, we are unable to carry out deliveries outside the UK.
Quality of Guarantee
We are committed to providing our customers with an unsurpassed level of service and a safe, legal product. If a beer is faulty we will offer a replacement so long as it is returned to us within 5 days of opening. This enables us to verify the product’s condition. Please contact us using the above methods if you believe a product to be faulty.
All goods are subject to availability. If the goods you order are not available you will be advised and offered an alternative. No payment will be taken until you have confirmed the amended order.
All goods ordered remain the property of The Great Newsome Brewery Ltd until payment is received in full.
Failure to Pay
We reserve the right to invoice you for the costs incurred in making requests for payment should your credit or debit card have insufficient credit.
