Upcoming Yorkshire Markets (October 2019) | Great Newsome Brewery
Here’s what our calendar’s looking like for Yorkshire’s October markets. Come try our craft beer!
4th-5th October (Friday – Saturday) – Beverley Beer and Cider Festival
We’ve brewed a brand new beer just for this festival, as well as given out free tickets! With over 70 cask beers, ales and ciders making an appearance, no lover of beer should be passing this one up. We’re not afraid of the competition of course; we’ll be leaving White Rabbit, Honkers Saddler, Frothingham Best and Ale Wife in the staff’s capable hands. Not one to miss!
6th October (Sunday) – Beverley Food Festival
I’ve always believed that beer and food can complement each other in so many ways. With such a massive range of food on offer, lots of beer samples should get our point across! You can find more info here.
6th October (Sunday) – Humber Bridge Farmer’s Market
Just like every month, we’ll have a stall, bottled beer and our own staff there. There’s also plenty of fantastic food, art and produce to nosey at. With an emphasis on a family friendly atmosphere, the Humber Bridge market is one of our all-time favourite Yorkshire markets.
9th October (Wednesday) – Langlands’ Christmas and Craft open night
It’s the first Christmas event of the year for us. We’ll be at Shiptonthorpe with plenty of free samples, joined by plenty of craft stalls and even a choir! Check it out here.
26th-27th October (Weekend) – Oktoberfest (Trinity Market)
Finally, and coinciding with Germany’s legendary event, Trinity’s Oktoberfest is set to provide the most craft beer, music and Bavarian food this side of the Atlantic (nevermind Yorkshire!). We’ll have a bar set up on both days, pulling pints until we either run out of beer to serve or currywurst to scoff. Bis bald!
