10 Barrel Brewery Plant For Sale

After years of reliable consistent service we are putting our 10brl brewery for sale to make room for a new one. The brewery includes FVs (Fermenting Vessels) and CTs (Conditioning Tanks) to match. This will make an excellent start up brewing just add ingredients and casks. With 4 x 10brl FVs it should be capable of brewing 11500 pints per week. This brewery has been used by us since we started in 2007 and has been responsible for beers that have been awarded numerous beer awards including a number of World Beer Awards.

Included in the price is removal of the equipment from our building and loading on to your transport (to be arranged by buyer). If you require us to store the brewery for you we would be happy to do so for an agreed period of time. The opportunity for the buyer to brew with the team for a day here at Great Newsome Brewery is also available. The brewery will be available October 2019.

Inventory

10 Brl Brewery Built By Grange Engineering, Ashbourne, Derbyshire in 2007. Built on 2 skid units, ideal for easy transport and housing in a limited space.

Skid Unit 1 consisting of,

Stainless steel grist auger. Ground mounted hopper and mashing machine. New motor required.

Mash Tun. Capable of holding 350 kg malt. Sparge Arm. Removable plastic and plywood lids. Laser cut removable 3 piece floor. Side manway for spent grain discharge.

Copper.  All electric 2 x 18 kw 3ph providing 36 Kw of heating power. Maximum volume 2200l or thereabouts. 2 piece stainless steel removable lids. Hop filter. External removable ladder and internal ladder rungs for safe access. + 4 m flue pipe with condensation trap.

Paraflow. Trantor capable of cooling 10 brl of wort at 95 deg C to 18 deg C in 45 mins. Cold side oxygenation point with site glass.

Copper & Mash Tun 3 ph Lowara pumps with hard faced seals. 1 ½” pipe work throughout with various manual butterfly valves on hygenic side and gate valves for liquor control. Also hop seed filter.

Gantry.

 

Skid unit 2 consisting of,

Hot and cold liquor tanks. Externally insulated and capable of holding 1825l each. Each has float valve fill and over flow. HLT powered by 1 x 3ph 18kw & 1 x 3ph 9kw element. Thermostatically controlled and recirculation in HLT possible. HLT has hot liquor return from paraflow. HLT and CLT each have a 3 ph Lowara pump mounted under the skid unit. CLT has 2015 UK Exchanger  heat exchanger capable of chilling cold liquor on tank fill.

Various pipe work joining the 2 skid units together. Pump and heating element switches, cabling etc. Spare 18kw heating element (new) plus various used ones and pump spares. Approximately 8m of 1 ½” stainless steel pipe plus 90 deg bends etc for transfer of wort from brewery to FVs.

 

FV’s

2 x 10 brl (2000l brim full) FV’s. Built by Grange Engineering, 2006. Mounted on a galvanised box section skid unit. 2 (1/3 & 2/3) piece removable stainless steel lids. Built in cooling jackets for full or half brews. 1 ½” RJT fitting in the lids to mounts a CIP spray head. Single 1 ½” RJT outlet. Thermometer pocket.

1 x 10 brl (2000l brim full) FV’s. Built by H & M Engineering, 2010. Built on 4 legs. 1 piece hinged removable stainless steel lid. Built in cooling jackets. 1 ½” RJT fitting in the lids to mounts a CIP spray head. Single 1 ½” RJT outlet. Thermometer pocket.

1 x 10 brl (2100l brim full) FV’s. Built by H & M Engineering, 2013. Built on 4 legs. 1 piece hinged removable stainless steel lid. Built in cooling jackets. 1 ½” RJT fitting in the lids to mounts a CIP spray head. Single 1 ½” RJT outlet. Thermometer pocket.

FV Digital Control Panel capable of controlling 5 FV’s. Solenoid valves, glycol ring main not included.

 

CT’s

2 x 10.5 brl CT’s. Single skin built by H & M Engineering, 2013. Built on 4 legs. Manway access point. Sight glass. Non pressurised tanks but used with CO2 less than 0.5 bar. CIP inlet and internally mounted CIP head. Single 1 ½” RJT outlet. Excellent racking and maturation tanks for storage in cold room.
